Good Evening I'm worried my swab results will come back positive although my past smears have come back negative I've recently had spotting I'm post menaupoal aged 64 with a inflamed cervix should j be worried

I am sorry that you are worried about recent spotting. Do let your doctor know this has happened.
There is not generally symptoms with HPV, so it is unlikely to be related, but an inflamed cervix could cause it.
