Hi there,
I recently visited my GP after some brown watery liquid appeared from what I assume is a duct from in right nipple, also a white milky colour from what I assume is a different duct.
On examination, the doctor found a lump near my nipple. I have been unable to feel this lump myself, or at least I don't think I have felt it, I'm unsure. The GP referred me for an urgent appointment which is in 2 days time. Last night whilst in the shower I felt a painful lump under my arm.
Is it normal for a doctor to feel something I can't feel? How do I know if the lump under my arm is something to worry about?
I am trying my hardest not to spiral because I am only a few days away, the time just seems to be standing still. I am worried because I visited a breast clinic 2 years ago and they didn't do any imagining, if they want to send me away without imaging again, can I advocate for myself and insist? I'm worried if they can't feel the lump in my breast either that they will send me away.
Thank you
