My brother aged 40, has been told there is nothing more that can be done for him. He had 3 tumours removed in January 2023 (glioblastoma) followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Scans every 3 months showed no progression until April 25, when a new and aggressive tumour has appeared and is inoperable. He had a week of chemo, but his consultant doesn't think it is doing anything. My brother wanted to keep trying and so was about to have more chemo but his platelets were too low (35). He also as endocrine pancreatic insufficiency (not sure if ive written that right) which doesn't help with the platelets levels. He is quite rapidly being taken from us
Are there any other treatments in any other countries or anything else we should be asking for?
