Forgotten to bring Tamoxifen

Hi

Had DCIS in 2023, surgery and radiotherapy and on Tamoxifen for next 5 years.

Had some meds in handluggage but case was damaged andTamoxifenhas fallenout

In Barbados onhol and another 12 days b4backhome.

Will ibe ok not taking tablet for that length of time or do i need to try sort out meds over here.

    The best person to discuss this with would be your hospital team or perhaps your GP who know your situation.

    I appreciate this is difficult not being in the UK, but as cancer information nurses not involved in your care we cannot say whether it's OK to wait before you come back home to start the tablets again.

    I don't know if you have any numbers for your specialist nurse (CNS) who you can contact.

    I am sorry we cannot be more helpful, and hope you can get some answers soon,

    Hi Orlando,

    I am sure that this must have happened to others before now. Do you have a holiday rep who could help you? If not, why not ask at reception and see what they can do?

    I hope that you manage to replace your Tamoxifen.
