Hello, I had a smear test in December 2024. I received the results a few weeks later (early Feb) which stated that although there have been no cell changes they would like me to come in to check things. It’s now June 2025 and I’ve had no further contact. I chased my local GP but they advised the letter does not come from them and it normally takes double the amount of time for further communication. I’m a bit of a hypochondriac but I don’t know if I should be chasing this or to wait to hear back? 

Background - I’m a 29 female, HPV and previously had to attend for possible cell changes 4 years which were shown to be fine.
