Spitting blood

Hi, I have just noticed i am spitting blood, it’s bright red but not a lot, but when i go to clear my throat a lot my blood comes out, I haven’t got a sore throat or any symptoms to go along with it. I have just come to greece for my holiday on a plane and arrived tuesday night, it’s now thursday night and now i am spitting blood. Another factor is I have had my tonsils removed 2 years ago and i dont know whether it is to do with that. I dont know where to go to ask questions about it and jus slightly worried as spitting blood. When i use my flash light on my throat i can see the blood in back of my throat like collected or sat on back of throat

Im overthinking massively and thinking the worst as im on holiday i dont know what to think

    I am sorry to read that you are worried about the symptoms you are experiencing, and I can understand you wanting to find out more.

    I'm afraid we are unable to diagnose or tell anyone if anything is the matter. While it’s possible that your symptoms are not related to cancer, it’s best to be safe and have yourself checked.

    Only a doctor can make a medical assessment, so the best thing to do is to speak with your travel insurance company and go to the local medical centre. They will assess you and decide if you require any treatment
