I can appreciate your current concern. Do make an appointment to see your GP who can assess you and advise further. They may prescribe some medications and creams to help.

They would probably want to do this first and see if it settles down. They would only refer on to a dermatologist if the condition didn't improve with treatment.

Most skin issues are not related to cancer, and there many different skin conditions. In the meantime, you can seek the advice of your local pharmacist whilst you wait for your GP appointment maybe. They are well placed to suggest any non prescription skin creams to try first. They may suggest taking a daily antihistamine tablet to reduce itching.

Sometimes skin allergies can develop from various things. Try changing your laundry detergent for example to see if it helps.
