I’m a bit worried about a mole that’s appeared and seems to be growing

I went away on holiday to Bali in February this year , when I got back I went on sunbeds to try and keep up my tan . I’ve noticed a mole that wasn’t there before , it seems to be growing slightly in size , occasionally itchy too . I’m a bit scared of going to the drs with it .

    I can appreciate your concern. We do develop new moles throughout life. But most of the time skin/mole worries are not serious, and it makes sense to go and get checked out by your GP for peace of mind. Unlikely, but should it be of concern, then most skin cancers are easily and successfully treated, when detected early. Try not to use sunbeds, and use suncream (SPF 15-30) to prevent further skin damage.
