  • Hi there whippitquick and thanks for the post

I am very sorry to hear about the situation you are in and all the ailments you are currently dealing with. This is understandably a difficult time for you.

I appreciate what a struggle it may be for you to get to see you doctor but it is so important a doctor assesses you as to what may be going on with you and to get the help you need.

Do call your GP surgery and explain your situation and ask if a home visit would be at all possible. Failing that out of hours you could call NHS 111 for advice and see if a doctor to could visit you that way.

If things are particularly bad for you then as much as you don't like hospitals if may be the best place for you. It is in the hospital where tests can be run and the doctors involved in your care can work out the best way forward for you in managing your symptoms. To make you more comfortable.

Unfortunately just staying where you are and not letting anyone know about what you are going through is not going to help you.

I hope you can pluck up the courage you need today to call the surgery and get the help you need.

    Take care

    Naomi
