What is stage PT4B cancerous melanoma on arm ?
Hello and thanks for posting
As nurses we don't usually interpret medical reports as this needs to come from the specialist team involved. But, I hope you find the following information useful.
PT refers to the primary tumour and T4 means the melanoma is more than 4 mm thick. B means that the skin over the tumour is ulcerated. You can read more about this on our website.
I hope this is of some help. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
Celene
