Hello and thanks for your enquiry,
I can appreciate that you are feeling overwhelmed by your current situation. I can signpost you to further sources of information and support from other relevant organisations.
The UK Brain Tumour charity have information on having a brain tumour biopsy They also provide an information pack for people newly diagnosed with a brain tumour, and there are 4 helpful booklets, concerning what to do when you have a brain tumour diagnosis They have an information and support line, and also oversee online brain tumour support groups.
Another UK organisation Brain Tumour Support also have a helpline, and are able to provide ongoing support to patients.
At some point, you may be given the contact details of a hospital clinical nurse specialist (CNS), who can provide ongoing support and information, as they may be involved in your hospital care moving forward.
I hope that this reply helps,
Kind regards,
Vanda

Hi there and thanks for getting back in touch with us
I am so sorry to hear about your situation and that the doctors don't feel there are many treatment options available to you.
This must be such a tough time for both you and your family.
It is important that you ask your doctor any questions you may have to gain a better understanding of all this means for you. If you haven't already asked about trials then bring this up with them, just to make sure no stone has been left unturned.
Some people also ask for a second opinion from a different specialist or hospital and we have information about this on the website.
I hope you have support around you at this time and that you are able to start some treatment that makes a positive difference for you.
Take care
Naomi
