Hi there and thanks forposting
I am sorry to hear about your previous cancer diagnoses and that you now have a squamous cell carcinoma on your skin.
Unfortunately it is possible to be diagnosed with more than one type of cancer in your lifetime. Often cancer is caused by several contributing factors such as aging, lifestyle and genetic predisposition. Whilst the squamous cell cancer you now have may not be the result of your previous cancer it may well have been caused by the same risk factors.
I hope this makes sense but do get back if you have more questions. If you prefer do give us a call on 0808 800 4040, we're here week days 9-5.
Best wishes
