I have two reddish marks on side of face about ear level.They have appeared here about ten months ago.I noticed one was a bit seppey las week .they look very flat and don't seem to be itchy

There could be a number of reasons for these red marks on your face but i'm afraid no one here can tell you what they may be.
I suggest contacting your GP surgery so someone can take a look just to be on the safe side.
Hopefully there will be a simple and straightforward explanation for them but if not the doctor can refer you to a skin specialist for further tests.
Hope you can get some peace of mind about this soon.
