Follow up appointment with specialists

Hello, I've had blood work done and a transvaginal ultrasound. The blood came back normal although the CA125 results were not included. I had the ultrasound at 1pm today and at 2pm they had made an appointment for me to see a specialist about my scan back at hospital on Wednesday. 

It makes me very nervous not knowing why they've called me back exactly other than "abnormal results" that must have been clear in the ultrasound immediately.

Would they call me back urgently for fibroids or any type of ovarian cists?

    We got a call the next day after the same scan n was told they found a few ovarian cysts n nothing concerning but as it was so quick we also worried.

    Individual hospitals vary in the way their patients receive their appointment and results. It could be your hospital’s policy to ring patients and make an appointment as soon as their tests are done.

    Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing in advance if this is anything to worry about and what the results will show.

    Easier said than done but try and take it one step at a time until you know more. Some people find talking it through with family and friends and keeping busy can sometimes help. Also try and focus on what you can control right now by eating a good diet, getting enough rest, and doing some gentle activities that you enjoy.
