Nodula melanoma

Hello my gp saw me yesterday and looked at a 4mm  lump on my bum.  She said it looks and feels like a cyst and there's pigmentation.  She told me to come back 2 weeks to see if grown.  But surely if its looks suspicious I can't wair 2 weeks! Im.worried about nodula melanoma.

    Thank you for responding.  Do you think they will do a biopsy? Do they only do that for suspicious moles? I'm seeing a dermatologist registrar is that still a consultant? How long does it take for biopsy results so sorry just struggling

    Hi Sarah my appointment Is this afternoon? Do you think they will do a biopsy? Will they do it anyway because the blue mole is in a awkward position. And hard to monitor? I'm so scared

    I hope you are okay and your appointment went well. Sorry we were unable to get back to you before your appointment about who you were seeing and whether a biopsy would be needed.

    I am sure the doctor assessed you properly. They will take a biopsy if necessary to give them more information. In some cases that involves removing the entire mole.

    I really hope your mind has been out at ease and that you are okay.
