I am sorry to hear about you having health anxiety and the concern you have about what may be causing your symptoms.

You have seen your GP which is the right thing to do, they are experienced at assessing this sort of thing and if they had been unduly worried they would be referring you on straight away.

For now you need to sit tight, avoid googling as it cannot diagnose you and go back and see the doctor in 2 weeks who can reassess you and decide what needs to happen next.

It is not unreasonable and it common for doctors to want to wait and see if something resolves on it own before carrying out further tests or referrals, so try and trust the system.

If however the anxiety gets the better of you arrange to see the doctor or another GP sooner.

I hope you know more soon and can get some peace of mind about what it going on.
