Lumps vs spots

Hi I am new here, I have 2 lump/spots that have appeared. One on my shin & one on my upper arm.

 I have had the one on my leg for a couple of yrs that randomly appeared & has stayed the same size & colour. The one on my arm appeared last year & I picked it thinking it was a normal spot & it bled. It's very much identical to the one on my leg.

However, the one on my arm seems to continually have a sab or crusty blood on it. 

is it likely to be anything to be concerned about?

    I am sorry to learn that you are experiencing symptoms that are causing you concern. Many people contact us because they are concerned that symptoms they have might be caused by cancer. We cannot diagnose you and the best advice we can give is to go and see your doctor. 

    They will be able to assess your symptoms and decide whether you need to go for any further tests. Although this can seem frightening, in most cases the symptoms will be caused by something else other than cancer. But it is always sensible to get any problems you have checked out.
