I am afraid I do not know what the doctor might discuss at the appointment.

However, I can say that many different types of cancerous, precancerous, and abnormal cells can be seen on biopsy, each with different follow-up. They might also want to review the area and discuss your future skin care.

How appointments are carried out can also be down to local policy. All hospitals deal with follow-ups differently; it could be that yours prefers face-to-face follow-ups, not phone calls.

I appreciate that waiting and uncertainty are difficult, but it is only your hospital team that knows the answer.
