My mother in law has stage 4 Lung cancer. Her cancer is stable but the oncologist has said that they could look at immunotherapy should the cancer grow. I have researched immunotherapy and her tumour is PDL1 negative which looks like it is not effective on it’s own and has to be used with a combination of chemotherapy. He has already told her that she will not have chemotherapy as she is not strong enough and after 1 treatment ended up with an infection.
