I am sorry to hear about your partner and appreciate what an anxious time this must be for you both.

I really do hope you both get a better understanding about what is going on and what the operation will entail very soon. As your partner has a scan tomorrow I would suggest asking if your partner can speak to someone whilst he is there. Failing that the name of the consultant he is under and calling their secretary through the main switchboard to see if they can tell you anymore.

Hopefully things will be made much clearer to you soon.
