I have taken Anastrozole for the past 6 weeks after not getting on with letrozole but had to come off it as the pain in my joints was unbearable . How long does it take to get out of the system as I’ve been off it now for 30 days !!
I am sorry to hear about your current experience of joint pain.
There doesn't seem to be a particular time frame for reference. For some patients it might take longer, such as several months for symptoms to subside.
Some patients have said doing pilates, yoga, or gentle stretching exercise has helped with recovering stiffness and discomfort.
Thanks for the reply Vanda I am going to join a Pilates class to help with this . I think it will take a while got the medication to get out my system .
