I can appreciate you want to help with this.

It does seem that you can buy disposable pillow cases online via various medical suppliers and even on Amazon. They may not be that soft though, as would be intended for short term use, as in medical procedures use. Other option to save the pillow from soiling, might be to use a waterproof pillow cover on it underneath, and then launder the pillowcase that is on the outside.

In some areas, there is a community laundry service, so it might be worth asking his GP about local community resources. The charity Age UK offer this in some uk regions.
