Endoscopy - do I need to let my thyroid consultant know about this?

I had endoscopy I have hiatus hernia ( which I know and oesphaghitis b 

no cancer thank goodness 

Which is great news but I just wish they could could say one way or another about the nodules ( thyroid it’s just dragging on so long . The dr who did the endoscopy putin the report that he recommended putting my pantoprazil up to 40 

but that’s what I’m on already .also said if it doesn’t improve with the medication I could be referred about having a operation to dory out the reflux . I m waiting to see if if I need operation for thyroid nodules not sure I fancy another one for different problem , I’m sure it’ll all be fine just taking time

tell the thyroid consultant about the endoscopy I know it’s a completely unrelated thing or will it be in notes so he’ll see it . At some point I’m time .

    That is great news that your endoscopy did not show any cancer, I imagine it was a worrying time having to go through this.

    I can appreciate that not knowing what is happening with the thyroid nodules has been dragging on for some time for you.

    As the oseophagitis and hernia are not related to the thyroid issues you are having, you do not necessarily need to let the thyroid consultant know. Everything that has happened should be added to your medical notes. However, when you next see your consultant it is probably worth mentioning it to them then.
