Chemotherapy tablets

Hello

I am due to start 6 months of a reduced dose of chemo tablets on Thursday.

I had 2 cycles of chemo & immunotherapy with very nasty side effects which led to my treatment being suspended. I was admitted to hospital with sepsis. Treatment was a bumpy road but luckily tumour shrank to 3mm so it was successful. I had surgery to remove what was left then after healing I had 15 days of radiotherapy. I feel more myself now my hair has grown, albeit thick & curly

I am anxious about this tablet as its not compulsory, I can stop treatment at any time. Am I putting my body through unnecessary turmoil? I have discussed this with my oncologist but i know in my own mind that should it come back, i did everything i could but what price am i going to pay. My tests are all ok to go ahead with treatment. TIA
