please could you advise?

  • Hello and thank you for posting.

I am afraid I can't say whether this not feeling hungry is Dad deteriorating. People can go off their food for several different reasons.

It is so hard when we have loved ones who live far away. You mention that he has chemotherapy next week. It may be good to try and speak to his doctor or specialist nurse when he is at the hospital. If Dad agrees for his information to be shared they can talk to you over the phone about how they feel he is doing. This may give you some extra information on how he is to help you make decisions.

Take care and I am sorry I cannot give you a straight answer.

If you want to talk it through then do call our nurse helpline on freephone 0808 800 4040. Lines are open mon-fri, 9-5.

    Sarah.
