Pre cancerous womb treatment

Hi I have pre cancerous cells which I am having treatment of three monthly biopsy and more a coil with a view to a hysterectomy in the near future. I am 67 and post menopausal and apart from some light spotting following the biopsy all has been fine until yesterday when I started bleeding like a full on period. I can call the hospital on Monday but not sure if I should be worried or do something today?

    I hope you were able to speak to someone over the weekend about your bleeding and have had your mind put at ease.

    It can be worrying to start bleeding unexpectedly and I hope this has settled down now. It isn't uncommon to experience some spotting or bleeding in the first few months after having the mirena coil fitted but this should then settle down.

    It is always worth a mention to your hospital team when this happens so they are aware and can do further assessments if needed.
