Hi blood test came back everything else is fine except my platelet is high at 500. My symptoms is fatigue. I had a blood transfusion four years ago after giving birth. I was anemic back then after it. I’m worried this is blood cancer :(
I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling quite yourself and your platelets have come back high.
It is normal to worry about abnormal test results but there can be many reasons for this other than cancer such as infection or some type of inflammation in the body.
You haven't said what your doctor has said about what needs to happen next but I would have thought they will be repeating your bloods and perhaps running some more tests to find out more.
As I say there is nothing to say definitely this is something as serious as a blood cancer but it is important that this is looked into further so you can get the most appropriate treatment for whatever is causing this.
