I am sorry to learn of your husband's situation this must be a difficult time for you all.

The side effects of the treatment can get worse during treatment but can continue to worsen for a little while (generally 1-2 weeks) after treatment has ended, before people start to feel better. If your husband is concerned at all he could speak with his nurse specialist (CNS) or if its possible to speak with his specialist, especially if things do not start to improve.
