Continuously bleeding 3 weeks after colposcopy and biopsy

I attended my colposcopy 3 weeks ago and needed to have treatment for high grade cell changes. They also took a biopsy. 3 weeks later I am still bleeding (heavier than my normal period) and still passing clots, they started off large but now small ones. Is this normal? They said I was to expect bleeding but didn’t think it would be this heavy. I can feel it flowing out even when walking around

    Bleeding is expected after having a colposcopy and biopsy and it can last up to 3 or 4 weeks. If you think your bleeding is heavier and are still passing clots after this time it's a good idea to get it checked out. It's probably part of the healing process but it's always best to get checked out just to be on the safe side.
