What does an elevated ( almost double ) psa level within months of last reading mean ? Patient taking enzalutamide for past few months and previous reading had improved slightly since starting on enzalutamide .

There can be many reasons why a PSA reading might be elevated such as inflammation or urine infection. Prostate UK also list other reasons for an elevated PSA reading.
It could also be a one-off reading and may reduce again when it is next taken.
