Our nurse team aren't back in the office until Monday morning so unfortunately you won't receive a reply from them until after the weekend. 

Were you given a contact number for the hospital that you could call if you had any questions or concerns? Do give them a call to clarify when you should be taking the medications that you were given. If you don't have a contact number for the hospital then you can call NHS 111 for advice and support.

Thanks Jen. I appreciate the reply,  I thought t may be a standard procedure so was trying not to annoy the Nurse,  but that's fine thanks for the advice.

Please don't ever feel that you're annoying the chemo nurses or the hospital helpline. I know they would much rather answer your question and offer support and reassurance than you feel you would be bothering them. 

I hope that this first round of treatment is kind to you Diffa.

Hello and thanks for posting

I would imagine that you would take your anti sickness and steroids tablets as prescribed by your team. It will usually say this on the medication box when to take them.

As we are not involved in your care, and to be on the safe side, it's probably best to check this out with the chemotherapy team at the hospital. They will know the specific drug you are taking via the pump and should be able to advise you further.
