Waiting for test results can be a very anxious and stressful time and it is easy to overthink things. 

Individual hospitals can vary in the way their patients receive their results .We cannot tell you what the doctor is going to say, but it might be hospital policy to talk through results with you on the phone. You cannot read anything into what type of appointment you have and the main thing is you have done the right thing by getting yourself checked. Unfortunately, until you have your appointment there is nothing you can do but wait. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry too much until you know more.
