I am sorry to hear about your aunts having thyroid problems and more recently you noticing this lump on your neck.

There could be number of reasons for this lump, so try not to overly worry but it is probably worth getting it looked at by your doctor, for your own peace of mind.

The doctor can examine you and if needed they can arrange further tests for you.

Hopefully this is nothing and there may well be a very simple explanation for this lump.
