I am sorry to learn that you have a mole that is causing you concern.

I'm afraid until you see the doctor, no one can say what the cause of the lump might be. It is important to know it doesn't necessarily mean it is cancer. However, you have done the right thing by getting checked.

It's easier said than done, but try not to overthink things. If you can, try not to search the internet, as this can heighten anxiety. Some people find it helps to keep busy by carrying on with their daily activities, such as working.
