Abemaciclib as you can read on our website is used in certain types of breast cancer that are ER positive and HER2 negative. It is given in advanced type breast cancer as well as early stage breast cancer that are node positive where there is a high risk of the cancer coming back after initial treatment.

Like with all cancer treatments there are potential side effects that are listed but not all patients will experience these. Every patient is different and until someone starts taking a medication there is no way of knowing how if will or won't affect them.
