Hi,
I am a little concerned about some bruising around the injection sites.
I had my second (Keytruda) immunotherapy treatment a week ago. I had no bruising at all from the first session. However this time this nurse missed the vein on my left forearm and tried again on my right forearm. The left arm got no saline or Keytruda but has some purple (subcutinous blood?) blotches surrounded by some pale bruising. My right forearm has similar blotches and bruising. The patches on both arms are visible for about 2 inches.
Given the left arm had no drugs and the similarities to the right arm bruising, I would just like to ask if this is normal. I'm guessing it is at the moment.
I have read the considerable list of common and rare side-effects but this doesn't seem to match anything I've read.
Should I be at all worried? And what should I do if these bruises spread or are still there in, say, another weeks time?
Thank You
