Hello and thanks for posting
Radiotherapy can still be an option even if prostate cancer has spread to the bones. It will depend on the purpose of the treatment and your specific situation.
Your specialist team will review your bone scan results and decide what the treatment plan will be. If the cancer is localised to the prostate or hasn't spread far, radiotherapy may still go ahead as planned. If it has spread more extensively, your doctors may adjust your treatment plan but they will advise you if this needs to happen.
Hopefully, you will know more soon. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Best wishes,
