I'm sorry you have been diagnosed with MPD.

People vary in how they cope with the drug hydroxycarbamide. We do have some information on our website about hydroxycarbamide and potential side effects which you may find interesting to read.

If you have a a haematology specialist nurse (CNS) involved in your care then perhaps they can provide you with information and support. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.
