Possibly pancreatic cancer

Hi I don't know where to start my head is all over the place I had a CT scan for another reason but while I had it done they found a lump on the pancreas and sent me for a MRI a week later I also have a appointment coming up to see a consultant in the hospital this week, it all seems so quick and I haven't had time to process things myself nor have I had proper answer yet so scared of what the next step is and how it's going to affect my life

    I am sorry to hear about your situation. I can understand how unsettling it must have been when you were not expecting this result. Try and keep an open mind, the doctors will not be able to tell you much until they have the results of all the different investigations.

    If pancreatic cancer is being investigated there are several tests that the doctors may want to do.

    Lumps can happen for other reasons other than cancer but I am sure this is at the top of your mind at the moment.
