Another update

I went to the hospital today, saw a nurse consultant and that was all, she took a look, took some photos and all that, didn't sound worried or anything then booked me in for the removal on the 4th feb, do you think they're not really worried or not sure what waiting times are normally like for this kinda thing, they might just be really busy and booked up, unsure

  • I meant to check in with you. Sorry I didn't earlier. Only thing I'd assume is that they are a bit busy. They don't tend to convey their thoughts unless they have authority and are fairly certain. I'm really hoping it's nothing. The waiting is an awful period because it leaves you in limbo. Anything you can do to distract yourself throw yourself into it. I had a cancer scare just after my partner's diagnosis so I know how hard it is not to think about it.

  • Hello and thank you for the update.

Glad things have moved along for you.

It is not unusual for the team to want to remove the changed mole, regardless of what they think may or may not be happening. By removing it and looking at it more closely under the microscope they get a 100 percent answer to whether there is concern in its changes.

    Take care,

    Sarah
