Hi I was diagnosed with ET and I take aspirin my platelets are slightly up again but I’ve had chest & cold for 3 weeks and steroids and antibiotics can this affect them thanks
You asked about platelets count rising. Certainly having a recent viral or bacterial infection will cause platelets to rise temporarily in response. Steroids can also do the same.
