My partners is currently awaiting tests.. his psa was very high and he has all the symptoms.. he's got a CT on Thursday and a bone scan next week.. how long did you wait for results and who gave them to you.. we're just in the dark about the whole process it's been a difficult Christmas

Things are looking as good as they can I guess! Bone scan should be very soon and fingers crossed for the right result. The nurses that are dealing with my case are lovely. 
I will keep the number in mind and call if needed but I’m determined to get this diagnosis dealt with so me and my family can move on. It has topped off an already awful year for my family too, I’ll be glad when 2024 ends and look forward to a better 2025 !

I’m sorry to hear your news. 
I had a psa of 9. Blood test on a Thursday early November, the next day I had a text to say to get in touch with my doctor, luckily got a cancellation appointment for the following Tuesday then got mri on that Thursday!! Results from mri took two weeks, biopsy a week or two after that then biopsy results Christmas Eve. Just waiting for bone scan, should be next week hopefully then operation soon after that is what I’ve been told. All results apart from the initial blood test (doctor) have been from the hospital and biopsy from the consultant at the same hospital. Hope this helps and good luck
