Two week wait pathway- suspected Breast cancer

I have been feeling really down since last week my appt is on 30/12/24 as doc has referred me for further tests

i I totally went in as over a month got purple bruising on left breast and not painful however that best is heavier and bigger than the right. Once the doc did physical examination she spotted a hard lump on the left breast. Since then I’m so worried.

just reading through and came across this forum.

i’m just not sure with my symptoms hoping it’s not but will this be more of a inflammatory breast cancer or more towards the lump? I’m so confused 

also what will happen at the breast clinic will I be told on the day and then if needed more test have to be done?

    I can appreciate your worry but I'm afraid that no one here can tell you what the is the matter. Except to say it is not necessarily cancer.

    It is reassuring that you have been referred to the breast clinic next week. When you are there you will be examined and may need to have scans and possibly a biopsy. We have information about the tests used in the breast clinic appointment on our website.

    In the meantime please try not to look online for a possible diagnosis, as the internet cannot tell you what is the matter but will add to your worry. Try to occupy and busy yourself with other things. But talk to people around you so you can be supported.
