Why have I been referred to a specialist unit at our local hospital? I e had a test for prostrate cancer but haven’t had any blood results, so why have I been referred? Is there something wrong with the blood test?
I am afraid I do not know why you have been referred to a specialist unit after aPSA test. It may be that your GP wants to investigate something further.
Do contact your doctor and ask them for your results, and the reason for referral.
