I am sorry you are worried about a lump you have, but glad an ENT doctor has reviewed you and they have diagnosed a virus.

Lymph nodes can swell, harden, or feel lumpy when the body is fighting off infection or bacteria, and they can remain swollen for a while afterward.

If you remain concerned about the lump do go back to your GP and let them know you are worried about cancer.

Thank you  for your response  .I just feel like there more going on .it mite not be cancer .but I definitely  don't feel like it is a virus  .am in so much pain around the lump finding it hard to swallow and not getting  no sleep .thank you
