I’m torturing myself. Found out last week I have breast cancer and worried now that it could have been the multivitamins that I’d been taking to have caused it (I had been feeling much better from taking them though. Sorry if it sounds silly!
I am sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis but please don't put any blame on yourself for this.
Most cancers are sporadic, meaning they occur over someone's lifetime. Yes there are lifestyle choices that may affect our risk of getting cancer but unfortunately cancer isn't selective and it can affect anyone at anytime.
There is no evidence to suggest multivitamins can cause cancer and it is unlikely anyone can pinpoint exactly the reason for why you have cancer.
