  • Hi there and thanks for the post

I am sorry to hear you suffer from health anxiety and appreciate how this must be affecting you whilst you wait for the biopsy results.

It is important that you carry out any self help strategies you know works for you, whilst you are in this waiting and not knowing phase. AnxietyUK have some really useful self help tools on their website too, so do take a look at these.

Hopefully you also have some friends and family around you to support you through this time.

Take things step by step for now and try not to overthink things until you have all the information about what all of this means for you. Many cancers can be treated or controlled and life isn't always shortened so don't let your mind run away with itself for now.

I hope you know much more soon and that everything will turn out okay for you. Do get back in touch if you need to or alternatively give us a call on 0808 800 4040, we're here weekdays 9-5.

    Take care

    Naomi
