I am sorry to hear you have just recovered from appendiceal cancer and are experiencing symptoms of the menopause.
Whilst HRT may increase the risk of some cancers such as breast, ovarian and womb there is no link to cancer of the appendix that I am aware.
As I say whilst there can be a risk for some people taking HRT often the benefits of HRT outweigh the risks but this is best discussed with your own doctor to properly assess your risks.
However as I say from what I know having had cancer of the appendix should not affect you being given HRT if you need it, so do discuss with your doctor when you get the chance to.
