Hiya im really scared I received a letter from hospital to say appointment to discuss treatment but nothing else does this mean it’s bad news as can’t wait 2 more weeks going out my mind already at 1 week
I appreciate this letter has unsettled you but it is very common for patients to be called in for a face-to-face meeting with the breast care team whether the news is good or bad.
Hopefully everything will turn out to be fine but you need your hospital team to confirm this for you.
But waiting to know more is inevitably worrying and a lot of people feel scared at the thought of their appointment and what they will hear. I think all you can do is try and hold your nerve as best you can while you wait and take things one step at a time. Also try to keep as busy as you can to distract yourself.
