I have just finished 4 cycles of chemo , I have mri and ct scan today , im feeling anxious about them and the results , I suppose it's only natural but I feel like I've gone back to the day I was diagnosed with the feelings of worry and anxiety .
I can imagine this is a very anxious time waiting for your scan results. What you are feeling is completely normal, and many people in similar situations feel the same.
I was unsure what your situation is, whether you are having chemotherapy as the main treatment and the doctors are doing scans to see how well you are responding or if this is an add-on (adjuvant) treatment for example, after surgery to stop the cancer coming back.

Hi thankyou for your reply , I've just finished 4 cycles of chemo and my scans are this afternoon, I have rectal cancer so the scans are to see how I'm doing after chemo, it's just daunting not know g what's next , I know it's surgery but I suppose it's back to the unknown again , thanks again .
